Den 28 augusti 2024 fyller NJS – forum för nordiskt järnvägssamarbete 150 år som nordisk samarbetsorganisation. Dessutom fyller NJS finska avdelning 100 år samma dag. Det ska naturligtvis firas, och hela år 2024 är vårt jubileumsår med höjdpunkt den 30–31 augusti i København. Då firar NJS ordentligt med en stor nordisk konferens, jubileumsbankett och ett studiebesök i Rødby vid bygget av de danska landanslutningarna till den fasta Fehmarn Bält-förbindelsen. Inbjudan med program uppdateras løpende.
Men firandet kommer att märkas även på andra sätt. Vår tidning, Nordisk JärnbaneTidskrift (NJT), utkommer med ett särskilt jubileumsnummer inför sommaren. Och våra nationella avdelningar i Danmark, Finland, Norge och Sverige genomför olika arrangemang, såsom seminarier och studiebesök, under jubileumsåret.
Vi är stolta över vårt arv och ser fram emot att fortsätta vara en viktig del av den nordiska järnvägsbranschens framtid. Välkommen att vara med och fira med oss!
